hot damn, it's been a while since i updated the site... there is newness though, in the form of the mixes you'll find by using the links on the left. the april mix (brown nose mix) is quite good, but rather low-tempo. see what you think anyway.

there's also an old mix tape from an old buddy from a loooong time ago in the same folder. quick links to side a here and side b here. some old, but rather good tunes can be found within!

in may you can catch me at ginglik for 3 of the 5 saturdays: 10th, 17th and 24th. 24th is apparently ginglik's 6th birthday weekend, so it promises to be a big one! if you want guest list for any of the nights, send me a message with names via the mail option on the left.

the last couple of months have been rather quiet as i disappeared into ultra-work mode. to celebrate things calming down a bit, there are 2 new mixes to set things rolling again. this is bouncy. this is more random.

Adverse Camber's Diode (El Kan0+Magimix) melts together mento-step, sonic-soca & low-down chugging bass. Imperial Leisure's turntable king Evil Bill steps up the classic party hip-hop infectiously funky dancehall, the tunes everyone loves to shake-it-to. Adverse Cambers rANdOMoidz celebrates his 30th & brings his favourite selection of electronic bass rockin tunes, usually mixed with a little comedy-core too.

DJ FEELAZ
DJ'ing for a decade now this Polish DJ has played probably every decent underground club in his home country, as well as having the chance to bring his musical vision to such places as Berlin's "Osthafen" and the legendary "Tresor" or Malta's "Liquid" club, and some London bars as well. He is also the founder of one of Poland's most recognised collectives "eXtenSiOn eLeCtrOniC mUSiC" with the mighty trio kIRk (noodles/coin operated/neue heimat) among them. Over the years he's played with such a versatile bunch of artists as DJ Assault, Tim Wright, DJ Maxximus, Titonton Duvante, Adam Sky (ex-Adamski), The Hacker & Neil Landstrumm among many others, which gives you an impression of his varied DJ-style. It all depends on the party and the people but he described the whole spectrum of his sound recently as: cut-up noodles mixed with chopped hitechfunk and boiled in flowing soundscapes... then stirred well, electrolised and served with a pinch of minimalisation ;-)

um. christmas is almost upon us and it may be the last time i write this side of it. so ... happy christmas buddy! i hope you have a good one. i have no new music for now, but here is something festive to wish you on your way:



oh yes... the chat function is some what defunct, but a rather amusing exchange took place a little while back between the charmingly named "cock" and "sara". it's worth a read if you can be bothered.
since then "cock" appears to have changed to "cockstayhome" and now perminently resides in the chatroom like some sort of gimp in the closet under the stairs. prod him and he may respond.

trainers...
i have 2 pairs for sale - both of which have hardly been worn. the trouble is i'm a sucker for buying trainers online when i'm 1) feeling frivilous 2) pissed ... and i often end up buying things that don't fit.
i have learned my lesson now though (actually, i do have one more pair on the way... though i fear these may be too small rather than too big). anyways, if you're interested, you can bid for the blighters here.
other than that, i don't have much else to say for now, but i did record this tonight. apologies for the duff mixing. the frisky feet of my upstairs neighbour have something to do with both the lack of quality and the title.

i quite like dogs. here is a selection from pleasant encounters over the past few years:

this guy has a severe lower jaw attitude i feel sorry for this stuffed type dog this dog was very much alive, but was holed up in a pub at the bottom of a staircase. i felt a sort of pity for him also, but his demeanour was pleasant

wow, time goes so fast when you're having fun... or even being lazy. long time since last update. since then i have opened a myspace page. there isn't very much of interest on it, but i did it anyway.
this (11th nov) and next (18th nov) saturday i'm playing at ginglik... times are 10-12pm this saturday and 9-11:20 the week after. if you want guestlist contact me via info at mooki dot co dot uk. hopefully that makes sense. it is to avoid those folk that love to spam.
